Professional Information
With so many Phoenix real estate agents to choose from I'm honored you've decided to
stop by to get to know me and consider me for your realty needs. I've spent a life
time getting to know Phoenix along with its surrounding communities and I can't wait to
share it with you!
About Me
I am a born and raised Arizona girl. In fact my grandmother was born in Arizona in 1908
before Arizona was even recognized as one of the 50 states.
(She lived here literally in the time of the Wild, Wild West! She claimed to have even
personally met Wyatt Earp.) My brother, sister and I grew up in Phoenix sharing holidays with
37 of our 39 cousins who lived within few a miles of us. I've never lived anywhere else
and have been fortunate to have traveled both in and out of the country. Even after
all these years I still enjoy exploring the state of Arizona and all it has to offer.
For that matter, I can't think of a better place to come home to than the Valley of
the Sun.
Growing up I attended Cortez High School (Go Colts!). I was active in school with
student council, cheerleading, and the volleyball team. After high school I attended Northern
Arizona University. I soon married and began the tough job of juggling being a wife,
a mother, and an employee. As for work of course I wasn't always a Phoenix real estate
agent. After some odd jobs I'd always felt I had a service calling and gravitated to a
career working for social service organizations. I've been with a handful of organizations
over time, but for a large portion of my working career I worked for the
United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona.
I enjoyed my time at UCP immensely and all the other organizations I have worked for,
but contributing on a management level at non-profit entities gave me a tremendous background in
operations, fund raising, and service. Now that my children are grown and have moved
out of the house
(I even have two grandchildren which seems crazy since I don't feel
old enough to be a grandma) I felt I was at a cross roads. I had always wanted to take
a chance and start my own business. Now was the time. Either I tried to strike out on
my own, or I likely never would.
Becoming a Phoenix real estate agent seemed like a natural fit for me. Being a Realtor
provides me the ability to work hard and feel a sense of accomplishment when I help
my clients buy or sell their home. Many businesses don't naturally provide the owner
the opportunity to connect with their clients on a personal basis that I have always
felt this was so important. Being a Phoenix Realtor allows me to get to know my clients,
connect with them on a personal level, and enjoy that moving day excitement together.
What other business allows that sort of connection?
Even though I am building a successful real estate business I continue to try and grow
as a person. I have returned to school taking online courses with my husband to finish
my college degree. It's an exciting challenge that we enjoy together at this stage in
our lives.
With my lifelong background living in the Phoenix area I am extremely qualified to help
you with any of your Arizona real estate needs no matter where you are looking to buy
or sell a home. I consider myself a north Phoenix real estate agent because I live in
the north Valley. Most of my clients naturally also live in the north Valley, but as a
Phoenix real estate agent I obviously help clients all over the greater Phoenix area.
Fun Facts
While working in the non-profit world I had the opportunity to work with many local
civic leaders as well as local talent. One of our projects was the Merry Arizona CD
that was produced each year around Christmas. I worked with a slew of local and a few national
recording artists since the gimmick of the CDs was that you had to live or produce in Arizona.
Part of this project was the search for a Desert Star contest where we
opened up taped auditions to anyone living in Arizona. We narrowed the field to the
top 10 (or so) artists, held a final live public performance with industry specialists selecting
the best artist, and the winner received a contract to be featured on that year's holiday CD.
The interesting part is that we did the project for 5 years, and pitched the project to a Network
producer in Los Angeles in the late '90s. American Idol started in 2002. Coincidence?
Thanks so much for reading my bio and learning a bit about me. Referrals are the
lifeblood of my business and I obviously only get referrals from someone after I have
done a superb job for them. If you are looking for a Phoenix real estate agent who
will work passionately with you to define and find your new home then I hope you will
contact me so I have the opportunity to win your confidence. I hope we talk soon.
